70's Throwback

Tbh, I don't know a whole lot about the 70's. What I do know is that this flared pants and clogs combo is hella cute and has gained nods of approval from my parents, aunts and uncles.

This floral top was custom-made by one of my favorite small shops for kids, Little People Rocx. They are by 2 awesome makers who have Filipino roots. They design some of the cutest clothes and the quality is impeccable.

Her bells are from Mhyrtle Kids and she said the fabric is from Japan. I waited quite a bit for A to fit them but it's been love since day 1.

For the Love of Rompers

I have a favorite romper. I got it when A was just about to turn one and we still use it 2 years later. Though I loved the style, I debated for months about buying it because I thought it was too much for a baby's piece of clothing but when it popped up on one of my favorite baby IG resale shops, I jumped in right away and got it.

What's even more amazing about it is that it still fits her to this day. Swapped out her boots with her trusty Old Navy clogs (not pictured) and a simple flower headband.

Black and White Prints

One thing I love about dressing up my toddler is mixing prints. Because she's a kid, I feel like I can be more adventurous with my choices. Love these sandals and used them so much back then because I loved how they stayed on. Plus, they're super cute!

Spring Floral

One thing I like about this hot and humid year-long weather is that we can wear summer items any day, which means longer wear for A's cute rompers, crop tops and backless tops. A is often hot and sweaty so I have to make sure she's wearing something breezy. This floral romper is a staple because it's just so adorable. We've worn it with or without anything underneath depending on how hot it is that day.

Comfort is #1

Getting a toddler to stand still, smile and look at the camera takes a whole lot of luck, some cheering and maybe a few bribes here and there. At times though, everything comes together and you get a good shot at the first try. This was from one of those days.

I love this simple outfit because of how comfortable it is for everyday. A doesn't go to school yet so save for weekends with grandparents and occasional playdates, she's just lounging at home playing with me and her yaya so it definitely has to be comfortable for her. While maxi dresses on little girls are adorable, we would only wear those momentarily as I'd be too afraid of her tripping. Most days we put her in a cotton romper, tee and bloomers or shorts or her play dresses. I prefer separates because I find I get the most use from them since we can mix and match. Sometimes, we would wear it with cute headpieces like this bunny ears headband or a hat just to play around. We also like to mix prints like these striped bloomers and polka dotted shoes.

Tutti Frutti

I can't seem to stop myself from buying fruit printed clothing and accessories for A. They are a dime a dozen but somehow make me feel happy and refreshed, so much so that A now has a small collection of fruit printed clothing. One of my favorites is this pineapple printed headwrap and bloomers set from a local handmade shop called Laila and Lyra. It's so fun and summery. What are your favorite prints?

Hello!

This is A. She's wearing a beautiful twirl dress which would be nice if she can twirl. But she can't. Not yet. She will do half a twirl then sway like she has had a few too many. Not to worry because this girl's drink of choice is mommy's milk. Right now, we are content with shots like this where mommy managed to take one that is actually in focus. However, there will be a few shots here and there that will be out of focus or blurred, with low light and messy backgrounds because life with a toddler is often messy, sometimes chaotic and almost never perfect, and that's okay. If you have a little girl that you love shopping for, this blog is for you. I would love to share some of the most amazing shops we love and how our style changes as A grows up. I hope we can be friends!
